Beaverton Residential Internet Coverage

Beaverton, one of the largest suburbs of Portland, has many large residential and business communities within its limits.

Through Centurylink Prism, several areas have access to speedy fiber internet. This provider serves several eastern neighborhoods, including West Slope and Denny Whitford. DSL is also offered through CenturyLink. This network is slightly larger, reaching other eastern neighborhoods like Raleigh West and Vose.

Frontier is one of the largest fiber internet providers in Beaverton, covering the entirety of the city and many bordering communities. The same is true for the DSL network established by Frontier Communications.

Xfinity and Megapath have nearly identical networks. Both reach all of Beaverton. They reach Triple Creek in the west, West Slope in the east, Five Oaks in the north, and Neighbors Southwest in the south.

Integra Telecom reaches beyond the city borders in all directions, simultaneously covering central areas like Highlands, Greenway, and Sexton Mountain.

DSL:

DSL provides internet service via phone cables and is up to ten times faster than dial-up service.

Cable:

Cable provides internet speeds faster than DSL through the same cables used for cable TV.

Satellite:

Satellite internet is widely available, but offers slower speeds due to a far-traveling signal.

Fiber:

Fiber relies on glass strands to relay digital code and is much faster than both DSL and cable.

Constant outages. Outrageous prices. Never any solutions from support, just sales pitch after sales pitch. The only reason I have them in the first place is because they're one of two ISPs available at my apartment. Switching to Ziply.

This has been one of the worst experiences I've had dealing with customer service and cancelling. I cancelled at the end of April to move to Comcast (same price, faster speed, quicker set up time) and here we are middle of June and I am still seeing charges on my account (after taking my card off the account - explain that.) I still have not received a box to return my router and I have called 4 times. I am currently on hold waiting to speak with a supervisor...doubtful I'll get anywhere with them since according to the lady I'm speaking with, they can't anything she isn't able to do. So explain why they are the supervisor, please?
