I started Spectrum at $35/mos, then one year later they inceased to $50 then a year later they increased to $65 then a few months later they sent me a letter saying they will increase to $75 on my birthday... I was upset and I quit them they offer me $40/mos to keep me but because of the letter they sent me, I went to different provider. .... for the functionality it is much slower than what is on the add. I mostly got 5-10mbps on the promise of 100Mbps and waiting for response is not satisfied.

Worst service ever, constantly lagging or even disconnecting. When you call it gets better for a couple of days and then it starts again. They do this because of the monopoly of address servicing. Hidden fees all the time and price increases constantly.

Overall an ā€œokā€ internet. Been using this for probably 8 years in this area. It is fairly inconsistent and just like other reviews, when you call to get it serviced they do tend to disregard what you say and say ā€œOh this model is old weā€™ll replace it for you.ā€ Itā€™s almost as if they are scripted to say that. They take advantage of me because there isnā€™t other options in my area for internet. If you can get better internet, I highly recommend you try a different provider if you are on your internet for a good amount of time. Some options may be more pricey, but I think it would probably be better than this.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Getting them to actually send someone out to fix high error rates on your data modem channels is like plucking teeth. They will bore and annoy you to tears with you need to "reset the modem" and "we'll optimize your channels from here" and everything they can do to resist sending the technician.. Better off usually learning how to crimp coax connectors and strip coax and go remove your own extra splitters and replace your own aging bent cable or improper crimped ends.... You'll be able to learn all that and get it done before you can ever get them to agree to send someone out.. and then they want to invent a reason to charge you when they never got the original install correct in the first place! Wow.. They make Frontier / Verizon look like they have top rate customer service practices... yet they are raising their rates at Spectrum? Are they out of their mind? See ya! Time to go back to FiOS because soon they will both be cost equitable at this rate.

Frontier is the worst internet provider that I have ever experienced. I signed up for a much higher speed than my slow outdated one and am not noticing a difference in connection except; the only difference is our internet bill. Its been over a month and I have not received the high speed as internet as promised. Also, customer service rep was extremely rude. I am currently seeking a dependable internet service that can fulfill their plans and promises.
