Hemet Residential Internet Coverage

The blue- and white-collar residents of Hemet work largely in administrative support and sales roles. Most residents have a high school diploma, but many have no education beyond that. In addition, residents tend to be lower-income. It's also an ethnically diverse area with nearly 40% of residents of Hispanic or Latino descent and more than 15% of the population being born outside the US. Hemet residents trust their internet services to connect with the community. Compared with 94% of California, 100% of Hemet has access to high-speed internet.

Time Warner Spectrum provides cable internet to 100% of Hemet residents and is the only supplier of this service in the area. Unlike much of the country, fiber optics are quite prevalent in Hemet with Frontier reaching 93% of homes. Frontier also offers DSL to 52% of residents west of Mt. San Jacinto State Park. In that same area, New Edge Networks offers an alternative DSL service to 1% of residents.

Businesses have access to all the services offered to residents and a few other suppliers. Megapth offers DSL and copper wire to commercial users while Windtream provides another fiber optics option to 1% of businesses.

Paid for Gigabit speeds, could barley reach 200. The consistency was fantastic, I could probably count on 1 hand how many times I dropped connection. But the speeds were horrible, If anyone in my household would download ANYTHING, the entire house would be slowed down to the point of no production.

Worst customer service ever. Monthly bill went from $55 to $65 to $100 in the span of 3 bills. When I called they said it was suppose to be $65 and said they would credit the $35 from the $100 bill, but instead they prorated the credit from when I called, so I only saw a $20 credit. If its your only option like me, make sure you are checking the bill every month.
