Moline Residential Internet Coverage

Moline is an economically diverse area with both blue- and white-collar residents working in administrative support and sales roles. They enjoy short commutes and are well-educated. The upper-middle income residents are also ethnically diverse with nearly 17% of residents considering themselves to be Hispanic or Latino descent. They rely on their high-speed internet service to connect with the community. Compared with 95% of Illinois, 100% of Moline has access to high-speed internet services.

Connection options in Moline are limited. Mediacom offers cable internet services to 100% of Moline residents. AT&T reaches 97% of area residents with DSL service. Both suppliers have a monopoly on their respective services and residents do not yet have a fiber optics option.

Business users are beginning to have access to fiber optics. Currently, 3% of commercial users in the area can connect with Zayo Group and this is likely to expand.

Worst Internet provider ever. Service cuts out multiple times during 30 minute streaming - stopped counting after 8 times. Cancelled service and was informed that will still be billed for another whole month for lousy service. Tried to send back their junk modem/router and was returned to my address 2 times. Don't fall for their claim of Fiber-net, most places don't have it so you're stuck with really slow DSL that takes forever and cuts out.

Works great, but I can't get an ID, so cannot access my account. I've spent 11.5 hours trying, including 5 phone calls to T-Mobile agents. The last tech specialist said point blank that their software was messed-up and he could not access my account to fix the problem. Their system will not recognize my email address, even though they've sent me emails? REALLY screwed-up and beyond frustrating. My credit card will expire soon and since I can't update it, I will switch back to cable or try Verizon which will soon be available in my area. Getting service with T-Mobile was easy, but getting an account is impossible!

Internet goes out at minimum once a week. pay for their fastest speeds but 3 out of 7 days a week I get a best half if not less than what i am suppose to, and I understand that speeds do vary just never expected it to vary by such a degree. While their technicians and customer service is actual pretty decent and friendly I just wish everything else was held to some sort of standard.
