Spectrum

Overall:
Service:

4/25/2023, officially today, I am now a Spectrum customer since Spectrum bought out Parish Cable. Spectrum sent a box containing a receiver which did NOT work. The front was severely scratched and it would not turn on. There was a large warning tag on the outside of the shipping box advising that the consumer was solely responsible (financially) for any damaged equipment. Due to the condition of this inoperable receiver, evidently the receiver did not go through a quality check before sending to my home address. Now, I have no cable, and a service person cannot come out until 4/27/2023. I can make a special trip to a Spectrum store to exchange, but this is a great inconvenience to me. The phone contacts I made with Spectrum service representatives were very helpful, but Spectrum's poor quality checking of their material is not under their control. They can only trouble shoot with the very irritating situation I have had to deal with since early this morning. Also, their telephone prompts are very irritating. I have been a Spectrum customer for a few hours, and I am seeing too many red flags. I have my doubts about this company. Sending out defective equipment is unacceptable, but a reality with Spectrum!
