Con: Slow, unreliable, overpriced CRAPOLA!

If you don't mind using your internet between the hours of 12:00a-11:00a {usually when at work or asleep} then go for it! Other than that, this oversubscribed network will have you wanting to pull your hair out! It doesn't matter WHAT plan you pay for, expect less than 1.00Mbps during peak hours. Unlike for me, if there is another provider use them! Just check out their FB page for more horror stories.

Pro: Nothing Good.. BAD

Con: Everything! ITS CHEAP = JUNK!

internet is bad and when the modem works it is extremely slow! The Value for the money is cheap because it doesn't run that fast and is no good.. When using the internet pages load slowly or don't load. This is a bad Internet Service Provider! AVOID THIS SERVICE.. Their getting money off you for bad service!

the net speed is fine if only used in the middle of the night. if you wanna use it during the day thou. expect slightly better than dial up speeds. nothin like waiting for every single web page to load. don't waste your time with centurylink. its cheap, but its cheap because its junk.

Pro: FAST (when its working !?!!!)

Con: PROBLEMS ALL THE TIME, YOU NAME IT

Well we haven't even had service for 2 weeks and WE ARE TOTALLY DONE w/ this company. Maybe one could say our expectations are TOO HIGH - such as CONTINUOUS NON STOP INTERNET ACCESS. Well it works great WHEN ITS WORKING. I have spent a good hour on the phone JUST TODAY and numerous calls NOT EVEN FOR THE SAME PROBLEMS. Several calls yesterday same thing. Maybe since this service has been installed there have been a few quiet days WHEN NOTHING HAPPENED (that is no calls to their customer service line) or maybe we just weren't using it much on these days. IF YOU WORK FROM HOME OR YOUR WORK DEPENDS ON GOOD INTERNET CONNECTION then might want to (((seriously))) go w/ SOME OTHER COMPANY. We used Cox for several years prior to getting an offer to try quest (30day money back guarantee, $50 visa gift card, no contracts, 29/mth at speed 7/2). The night this was installed i was on the line to customer service then everyday for several days after. They sent the same technician out to look at the system who found faulty wiring at the box (ok no problem - ITS FIXED !?!!????). Then every since one call after another for this or that. Believe me I AM NOT EXAGGERATING. In all fairness perhaps when they get all the kinks worked out then MAYBE IT WILL BE A GOOD SERVICE - assuming that your ancient phone lines in your house are still up to speed (or they will charge you to redo your lines) ours are fine so far atleast but as this continues that will probably be the next thing they say - our phone lines are whack! Just got off the phone w/ them and they said this time there was some problem ON THERE END w/ the connection to the server or some technical jargon and that the technician magically fixed it by pushing a panic button! I asked what his name was so we could be on a first name basis NEXT TIME I CALL - he didn't sound amused and said that THERE WONT BE A NEXT TIME because ITS FIXED. Ok lets see if this message i just took the time to type gets sent or if the signal stops working and it gets lost in cyberspace (sorry for the ramble but we are very dissatisfied w/ this service!) Pro: Good off peak Connection

Con: Bad off peak speeds

Once I'd first ordered centurylink the installation was within a few days, excellent!! well it was....speeds in peak time are so slow almost unusable slow, avoid!!
