US mobile broadband users face issues with quality

The results of a recent study have shown that whilst mobile broadband services are becoming more and more popular in the United States many users are experiencing issues with quality.

In the United States, as in many other countries, mobile broadband services have become increasingly popular, and many people now utilise mobile broadband because of the flexibility, freedom, and convenience that it offers. This technology has become popular amongst both business and casual users, and has revolutionised the way in which many people access the internet.

However, the results of a recent study seem to indicate that many users are experiencing issues when it comes to the quality of their mobile broadband service. The research was carried out by international research organization, YouGov, and Acision, which specialises in mobile data.

As part of the survey users were questioned about their mobile broadband experiences using devices such as laptops and smart phones. A massive seventy four percent of respondents said that they had experienced Quality of Experience (QoE) issues with their service.

A number of problems were found to be creating these issues with quality of mobile broadband services. Sixty percent said that they experienced slow speeds, thirty five percent blamed poor network coverage, twenty nine percent said that they had difficulty in getting connected, and twenty nine percent said that they experienced connection loss. However, around sixty three percent of mobile broadband users that took part in the survey said that they would be willing to pay a small fee if it meant the quality of their mobile broadband services would be improved.
