Communications giant AT&T has recently announced that it is launching a postpaid monthly billing option for tablets to give customers more choice.
It has been announced recently by the communications giant AT&T that it is going to be offering customers the option of going for post-paid monthly billing on tablets. Customers will therefore be able to choose from the standard prepaid billing option which the company already offers and the new post-paid monthly billing option, which it introduced last week.
The company is also offering a special deal to some customers that opt for the new billing plan. Those that sign up to a post-paid service on the $25/2GB basis will receive the first month for free. The new plans can also be added to existing wireless statements for customers, which means that they enjoy the convenience of just one single bill each month.
The new billing system means that customers now have plenty of choice over how and when they pay their bills, and can enjoy the convenience and ease of a payment option that suits their needs and preferences. The options do not require any long term contract commitment and the new billing will be available from all AT&T retail stores as well as other locations such as Nexcom locations and Walmart stores.
David Christopher, chief marketing officer, AT&T Mobility & Consumer Markets, said: “Tablets offer the convenience of mobile broadband virtually anywhere and our new billing options give customers the flexibility to choose how they prefer to be billed.”
