More and more people in the United States have access to mobile broadband and internet these days, with many using smart phones. However, these could be clogging the 3G networks, making life difficult for those that rely on mobile broadband.
Over recent years more and more people in the United States have enjoyed access to mobile internet and broadband, and this is via mobile broadband services and smart phones with 3G access. The use of smart phones has surged amongst users ranging from tech savvy teenagers to business people and even retired users, and these phones have proven hugely popular for those who want to access the internet on the go.
With Christmas not long over there will be a whole new group of people that are sporting smart phones now, and this will mean that more and more people are clamouring to use the 3G mobile broadband networks that are in place at the moment. For many of those that are reliant on mobile broadband and internet access this could cause a problem in terms of the quality of access that they are able to get.
The rise in the number of people using the networks in order to access the internet via their devices could cause a range of problems, because the networks could become clogged. Some of these problems include slower mobile broadband and internet speeds, less reliable connections, and lower quality service.
This is a problem that may subside with the wider rollout of 4G broadband, which offers greater capacity and can therefore cope with much higher numbers of users on the networks. However, until 4G is rolled out on a wider basis those that are reliant on mobile broadband services could find themselves experiencing real difficulties when it comes to maintain quality of service.
