4G speeds to be brought to Columbus by AT&T

It has been announced that communications giant AT&T is set to bring 4G speeds to Columbus and its surrounding communities as part of its upgrade process in the area.

Broadband connection speeds have become increasingly important to wireless internet users across the United States, and this is because more and more people are using these services for a rising number and range of activities that require faster speeds for increased effectiveness.

Over the past year the communications giant AT&T has continued with upgrades to bring better wireless broadband services to consumers in various parts of the country, and it is set to continue with these improvements with upgrades in Columbus and the surrounding areas, which will results in 4G speeds to the area.

The improvements form part of the investment by AT&T which will see nineteen billion dollars being ploughed into its wireless networks as well as other projects. Between 2008 and 2010 the company has invested more than one hundred and sixty million dollars in the Columbus area on things such as upgrading cell sites, adding retail stores, and providing continued improvements.
