4G could be expedited by AT&T acquisition

It has been claimed that communications giant AT&T is hoping that its cash and stock bid to acquire T-Mobile USA will be approved by regulators so that it can expedite its 4G LTE plans.

It has recently been announced that the communications and broadband giant AT&T has put in a bid to acquire T-Mobile USA is a thirty nine billion dollar cash and stock deal. It is thought that the deal will be approved and closed over the next twelve months. As part of the deal Deutsche Telekom will have an eight percent stake in AT&T.
