iPhone 4S is the best iPhone ever according to user study
Prior to its release and immediately after, many people were saying Apple made a mistake by not releasing the iPhone 5. Many naysayers doubted the Apple aficionados would be impressed.
The sales figures were outstanding and broke all records for an Apple product release. The iPhone 4S continued to break records with Black Friday sales emptying 75% of the store shelves.
Who could doubt the popularity of the iPhone 4S? Well someone asked the question: “Do the users really like the 4S or is the popularity just the impression it makes on your friends like a status symbol?”
ChangeWave, a market research company, decided to ask that question. The do have some experience in this area since they answered the same question about the iPhone 4.
They found out that 77% of iPhone 4S owners were very satisfied with their smartphone. 19% of the owners were somewhat satisfied.
That works out to a 97% satisfied rate. I am hard pressed to find anything that users are satisfied with at such a high percentage.
The iPhone 4 came close with a 93% satisfied rating in 2010. Yes, ChangeWave did that study too, so the methodology lines up between the two studies.
You may want to know what the biggest complaint is with the iPhone 4S. I’ll give you a hint. It is the same complaint that I have with my DROID X.
Not one to torture you by saying “come back tomorrow for the answer”, I present it to you now: 38% of the users said they were not happy with the battery life.
At least I can buy a larger battery and back cover for my X.
