Conquer the world with the Droid Incredible 2 by HTC on Verizon Wireless

A nearly a week ago, I wrote about the HTC Incredible S being released in Canada and soon to be available in the US.  Well, another incredible smartphone (pun intended) is going to be available in the United States.

Droid Incredible 2 Conquer the world with the Droid Incredible 2 by HTC on Verizon WirelessThe HTC Droid Incredible 2  has a preliminary price of $199.99, probably with a 2-year contract with Verizon.  Android Central is reporting that this phone will have both GSM and CDMA support for use outside of the US in addition to living on Verizon’s 3G network in the United States.

While no release date has been mentioned, the fact it is mentioned in internal Verizon training and marketing materials means the release is getting close.  Under the Customer Demos documentation Verizon says to “Demo the default 8MP camera… snap a photo and demo how to upload to a social networking site like Facebook…”

The Droid Incredible 2 has built-in support for Adobe Flash 10.1.  You will not only be able to customize the wallpaper, but will also be able to customize the look of the menus.

In addition to the built-in 8MP camera, there is capability for 720p HD video recording.   There is also a 1.3MP camera for video calls.

It comes with a 16GB microSD memory card and supports DLNA media sharing.

For an extra $20 per month they say a 20GB mobile hotspot can be enabled so you can connect up to 5 WiFi devices to the phone for internet access.

I like the idea that it will have a “New Synch & Connect Feature” service that will be available April 12th before the release of the Droid Incredible 2.

We know when the feature will be available, nut still do not know when the Incredible 2 will go on sale.
